Meet Coach Carlos Galletti

Coach Carlos Galletti - Volleyball Coaching Program Director

Coach Carlos Galletti heads the DS Elite Volleyball program with more than 20 years experience in professional volleyball and coaching. In his early career Carlos was a pro-AVP player. In 2000-2004 he was the Head Coach for the Greece Women’s National Volleyball team winning the European Championship in 2001. In 2004 they placed 9th place at the Summer Olympic Games in Athens. In 2006-2009 he was the Head Coach for the Women’s Australian team winning the Gold Medal at the Seoul FIVB World Tour in 2007 and later placed 5th in the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. In 2013-2017 Carlos became the Head Coach for the Men’s National Team in Antalya, Turkey taking the men’s team from a ranking of 100 in 2013, to the top 25 in the FIVB world rankings.

Carlos has now settled with his family in South Florida with a determination and purpose to work and train young atheltes for the next generation of champions. DS Elite is proud to have Carlos Galletti lead our mssion in setting the new standard in volleyball in South Florida.

Jose Gerardo Loiola, Hall of Fame and Gold Medalist’99 Volleyball World Champion

Program DIrector Jose Loiola has an impressive volleyball record with over 55 victories in his career, eight consecutive titles from 1995 through 2002. Among his wins are the 1997 King of the Beach, 1999 World Championships, 2001 Goodwill Games and twice winner of the Manhattan Beach Open of 1995 and 2000. He finished ninth with Emanuel Rego 2000 Olympics and in December 2017 was inducted into the International Hall of Fam. Loiola has worked with USAV’s beach high performance athletes since 2010 as a National Head Coach.

Coach Loiola’s vision is to inspire and encourage young athletes to learn and love the game of volleyball. Through his expertise and passion for the sport, DS Elite Volleyball is a unique opportunity for players in South Florida.
